Source Investigations Analyst

Seerist is looking for an Open-Source Investigations Analyst to join our Collections team. In this role, you will research and analyze sources for Seerist’s platform with a focus on political, security, and operational risks. This includes carrying out deep research into sources and their reliability. You will also contribute to investigations into misinformation networks, and work on written analytical products for Seerist clients.

This is a Hybrid role, 3 days a week in the office

• Identifyandobtainaccess to online media sources relevant to Seerist’scustomer base.
• Analyze misinformation sources and networks, assessing their influence on the information and security environments.
• Maintain understanding of the changing ways mainstream and alternative social media platforms are used.
• Contribute to developing andmaintaininganalytical products on security and geopolitical risk.
• Work with Customer Success and New Business teams to support Seerist’s growth.

• 2-4 years of experience insecurity risk analysis or open-source investigations for security risk management
• Strongexperienceproducing writtensecurityanalysisreports with a focus on clarity, precision, and actionable insights
• Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to make informed assessments when information is incomplete or uncertain
• Demonstrated practical knowledge of geopolitical issues, with the ability to connect this to source collection
• Flexibility –we’re a small company that moves and reacts quickly to the needs of our users

• Proficiency in anadditionallanguage beyond English.
• Experience working with Product, Development and Data Science teams
• Experience in a Due Diligence or Corporate Investigations role
• Experience in journalism
