Role SummaryThe Sales Operations Program Specialist coordinates, communicates, and implements sales programs to ensure efficient, error‑free execution. They assist and sometimes lead multi‑functional coordination to deliver customer solutions and VWFS initiatives while backing up the Business Development Specialist.
Responsibilities- Deliver responsive service to customers (VW, dealers, internal), including program‑specific reporting (10%).
- Timely create and distribute program bulletins and communications (10%).
- Lead coordination and operationalization of programs and initiatives with Service Center, Remarketing, Legal/Compliance and other stakeholders (20%).
- Maintain the look, feel and content of program bulletins and handbooks to support dealer and customer satisfaction (5%).
- Communicate, coordinate and understand sales programs and initiatives across all parts of VCI, the Brands and dealers to ensure efficient, error‑free execution (5%).
- Support and sometimes lead VWFS initiatives and customer deliverables, including internal/external communication and reporting (25%).
- Vendor manage key VWFS Business Operations partners (5%).
- Continuously improve all Business Operations functions; drive efficiency, customer experience, incremental sales/profitability. Manage outcomes, not processes (10%).
- Provide backup support to the Business Development Specialist on items such as (10%):
- Preparation and analysis of sales reports and the competitive environment using PIN Navigator, Business Objects, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Serve as point of contact for field‑related questions, including exception requests.
- Prepare monthly pricing presentation.
- Conduct program and product cost/benefit analysis.
Required Experience
: 5–7 years of relevant work experience.
Required Education
:
Bachelor’s degree.
Desired Education
:
Master’s degree.
- Analytical competence – accurately manage large amounts of data to support program operations; mine databases, distill complex data into simple presentation, and make business recommendations.
- Customer focus – serve VW brand and dealers.
- Project management – coordinate various functions.
- Excel proficiency.

- Business Objects proficiency.
- Sales Force proficiency.
