- Develop, foster, and maintain customer relationships with Contracting Officers and Sponsor leadership.
- Interface with Executive Leadership on complex contractual issues.
- Provide leadership in proposal preparation, including OCI mitigation plans, cost/volume reviews, and oversight of model contracts and intellectual property considerations.
- Assess terms and conditions to protect the corporation from unusual risk and sustain or improve Peraton's long‑range plan.
- Work on a wide range of complex programmatic matters and provide advice on contractual and procurement‑related matters.
- Provide guidance to line staff and management on contractual and business issues, including risk/benefit analysis.
- Support or lead strategic and business optimization initiatives.
- Negotiate subcontracts, teaming, and non‑disclosure agreements.
- Ensure contracts achieve optimal operational performance by adhering to contract policies, procedures, and operating practices.
- Manage a team of contract administrators.
- Review and resolve issues affecting company compliance and ensure satisfaction of legal requirements, Company, and customer objectives.
- Advise management on contractual rights and obligations, identifying risk areas and mitigation strategies.
- Provide strategic guidance to completion on more complex bids.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience.
- In‑depth knowledge of federal government contracting, including the acquisition process and regulations.
- Business acumen with the ability to think critically and develop creative, practical solutions.
- Experience with developing organizational conflict‑of‑interest mitigation plans and teaming agreements.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and negotiating large, highly complex bids.
- Familiarity with a variety of contract types and their management.
- Strong writing and time‑management skills.
- Proven commitment to integrity and professionalism.
- Superior interpersonal skills at all organizational levels.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- High adaptability to change, ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Capacity to multi‑task in a fast‑moving environment.
Target Salary Range: $104,000 – $166,000. This range reflects typical pay for this position and may be adjusted based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
