Responsible for all store clerk functions as outlined. In addition, the lead clerk can be assigned any, or all the following responsibilities, leadership, customer service, cashiering, inventory, safety and any other duties assigned by the store manager.

SCHEDULE: 5-day work week between Monday
-Saturday 8:15am – 5:45pm must be available to work all Friday-Saturdays days off change weekly due to vacations, Sick calls etc.

WAGE: $25.00 per hour, subject to all state and federal taxes.

• Assist Store Manager in directing employee activities by completing employee worklist, verifying timecards for accuracy and assigning daily duties and tasks.
• Promote superior customer service in the store by training employees, modeling customer service standards and resolving customer concerns.
• Assist in the Store lunch sales by helping with food preparation, taking customer orders and assembling orders in a timely manner and cleaning store.
• Work with Store Manager on work scheduling to ensure a keyholder is scheduled during all store hours.

• Working with the Store Manager to successfully execute sales plan by being aware of goals, conducting in store promotions, maintaining high merchandising standards and developing other display and selling opportunities.
• Working with Store Manager for planning, organizing and attending planned public shows to represent Oberto.
• Keep store signage visible and neat by regularly inspecting the store and correcting any problems.

• Helping Store Manager with the meeting expense plan by monitoring and controlling actual costs.
• Responsible for reporting on product samples and spoils.
• Responsible for maintaining level of inventory for store of products and supplies by monitoring amounts and ordering when needed.
• Keep the store inventory fresh and stocked by rotating products, unloading pallets and putting products on displays and shelves.
• Assist in monthly physical inventories.

• Ensure that proper safety and food handling measures are followed by instructing employees on proper company procedures and then monitoring personnel to make sure all procedures are followed.
• Provide for a safe working environment by monitoring organization of storage and store traffic areas, reporting any accidents that occur immediately, and resolving any safety hazards that are noted.
• May be assigned other duties that are not listed.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Food Handlers Card
• Driver’s license and ability to drive.
• 2 or more years’ customer service cashiering experience
• Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
• Excellent professional phone skills.
• 2-3 years of retail experience.
