Job Title and CompensationJob Title: Retail Assistant Manager
Salary Range: $55,000 - $62,000
Location: Renton
Position OverviewThe Store Assistant Manager supports the retail, production, and material handling teams. Working with the store manager and supervisors, this role provides leadership to ensure team member satisfaction and achievement of financial goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervises staff according to company policies and laws, including hiring, training, performance monitoring, and addressing employee issues. Collaborates with People Relations as needed.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of retail leadership experience.
- Minimum 2 years leading a sales team in a retail or service setting.
- Experience in a customer-centric, solutions-oriented environment.
- Ability to engage with customers and understand their needs.
- Knowledge of budget metrics and P&L management for at least 1 year.
- Valid Washington Driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a good driving record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.
- Physical ability to lift 20-30 pounds, stand for long periods, and operate computer systems.
- Effective communication skills, including with those with limited English proficiency.
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work nights and weekends.
