Professional Summary
This role supports the coordination and delivery of respiratory and medical equipment services by working closely with patients, clinicians, referral sources, and insurance partners. The position ensures that all required documentation, authorizations, and scheduling activities are completed accurately and efficiently. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, a customer‑focused mindset, and the ability to collaborate with a wide range of healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and equipment fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with patients, physicians, therapists, insurance companies, and referral sources to determine and optimize equipment needs.
- Obtain all required documentation and authorizations to ensure appropriate coverage for equipment and services.
- Support clinical teams, sales staff, and home transition personnel as needed to facilitate smooth patient care processes.
- Assist customer service staff in coordinating respiratory‑related discharges and ensuring timely equipment delivery.
- Follow all established procedures, organizational policies, and safety guidelines.
- Coordinate clinician schedules, manage patient setups, and route communications between clinical staff and patients.
- Schedule clinical staff in a way that maximizes workflow efficiency and supports timely service delivery.
- Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned to support departmental operations.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations in a caring, personable, and professional manner.
- Strong public relations and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to read and interpret written materials and computer‑based information.
- Proficient office skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and Docu Ware applications.
- Ability to quickly learn new equipment, systems, and technologies.
- Previous experience in home care or a related healthcare environment preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with referral agencies, physician offices, patients, and other stakeholders.

Contract to Hire position based out of Renton, WA.
PayHourly rate: $22.50 per hour.
