As the Director of Finance, Providence Clinical Network (PCN), you will play a pivotal role in the financial oversight of the PCN and serve as the key liaison for accounts payable and payroll processes across multiple regions. You will drive capital project facilitation, assist in budget development, and provide strategic support to ministry senior management and departmental leaders in achieving annual and long‑term objectives.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Financial Guardian: Monitor financial performance to ensure achievement of productivity, supply chain targets, and financial objectives.
- Strategic Partner: Collaborate with the executive team to produce accurate financial statements reflecting operational and clinical services, and perform budget variance analysis.
- Data Advocate: Develop and manage dashboards, achieve internal audit recommendations, and lead special projects for ministry and regional growth.
- Collaboration Champion: Engage with all levels of the organization to ensure seamless execution of strategic plans.
- Operational Innovator: Assist with implementing staffing matrices and support productivity management with benchmarking data.
- Communication Leader: Articulate complex financial concepts clearly and foster a culture of collaboration and respect.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 8 years in a healthcare finance leadership role with 10+ years of closely related experience. Medical Group experience strongly preferred.
- Certifications: Certified Public Accountant preferred; HFMA or FACHE preferred upon hire.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to use mathematical methods to solve complex financial problems and analyze data for strategic decision‑making.

Schedule:
Leaders applying for this role will be required to work a hybrid schedule consisting of three days onsite, two days remote, and live within a reasonable commuting distance to the ministry or service area they support and lead.
