Right At School Childcare Program, Educator

$20.90-$22.25 per hour (based on education and experience)

Monday-Friday Split Shift
, must be available all 5 days for one and/or both shifts each day.

Before School Shift
: 6:30am-9:00am (Friday 6:30am-10:30am) and After School Shift
: 3:00pm-6:00pm. Actual schedule will be based on needs of the programs.

• Organize program materials for lessons and activities, document attendance, incidents, and other observations
• Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building activities that expand school day learning
• Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain safety and well-being, support homework completion, lead fitness activities, and guide children at play
• Maintain excellent communication with children, parents, staff, and school personnel
• Meet regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
• Works well in a team environment
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Excellent communication skills with varied audiences including children, parents, staff and school personnel
• Drive to inspire a love of learning and commitment to healthy living
• Respect for and dedication to working with children with special needs
• A love for children

• Proof of High School diploma/GED required
• Ability to meet state-specific requirements; FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter, Cleared TB, and Food Handlers Card
• 18+ years of age
