DSC Warehouse Technician - 4th Shift

Job Description

This position is an essential part of Sherwin’s distribution network. The role safely loads and unloads trucks, accurately picks paint and paint‑related product orders, ships product orders to customers, moves material within the facility, and operates material handling equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other machinery. The role also safely operates forklifts or other machinery to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, picking, sorting, packing, and transporting products.

Saturday – Sunday 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM & Monday – Tuesday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Shift differential: $1.00 per hour. Eligible for a performance‑based bonus subject to the company’s applicable plans.

• Accurately and efficiently pick orders.
• Process, package, and ship orders accurately.
• Organize stocks and maintain inventory.
• Inspect products for defects and damages.
• Examine incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items appropriately.
• Operate robots to facilitate effective warehouse operations.
• Coordinate site damage/re‑pour area.
• Abide by all company safety and quality expectations.
• Contribute ideas to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized daily.

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.

• At least one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing or distribution facility.
• At least one (1) year of experience operating mobile power equipment such as lift trucks, tow motors, pallet handling equipment, order pickers, high lifts, forklifts, or cherry pickers.
• At least one (1) year of experience operating stationary power equipment such as palletizers, conveyors, hoists, stackers, mills, or farm/construction equipment.
• At least one (1) year of experience with order picking and entering orders including data entry and scanning bar codes.
• At least one (1) year of experience working as a picker or packer in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
