Job Title: Float Linehaul Driver

Department: Operations

Job Status: Non-Exempt

Pay: $0.76/mi (doubles). $33/hour (PTO/Holidays)

Reports To: Service Center Manager

Route: Monday - Friday, range from 9pm-12am (Based on route coverage)

• Reno, NV to Carlin, NV to Reno, NV (536 miles)
• Reno, NV to Tonopah, NV to Reno, NV (474 miles)

We are seeking safety conscious, Class A Linehaul Drivers. This position requires transferring freight to specified locations in a timely manner, hook and unhook commercial trailers, and complete all paperwork required by government regulations and company procedures/policies.

Our Linehaul Drivers are home daily with weekends off, allowing them to enjoy a healthy work-life balance.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Hook up and haul trailers between our customer/terminal locations as instructed by dispatch or immediate supervisor
• Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies the shipment to the delivery point
• Operate tractor-trailer combination for extended periods of time, over long distances

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 21 years of age
• 1 year of commercial driving experience
• No DUI’s or DWI’s (in the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 traffic violations (in past 3 years)
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain (renewals reimbursable)
• Doubles endorsement

• Must be able to frequently enter and exit the cab of a commercial vehicle.
• Must be able to carry freight weighing up to 40 pounds for a distance of up to 20 feet.
• Must be able to hook and unhook various commercial vehicle combinations, operate equipment and perform related manual tasks.
