• High School Diploma or GED
• Class C Driver License
• 5 years’ experience in industrial/commercial equipment maintenance and repair required
• Understanding and knowledge of OSHA regulations required
• HVAC experience
• Equipment maintenance experience
• Must have own basic tools

• Have the ability to work evenings or weekends (on call) in the case of an emergency
• Must be able to work outside in extreme, hot and/or cold, weather conditions.

• Occasionally work may be accomplished outdoors in extreme weather condition (hot and/or cold); regularly performs physical activities that require considerable use of the arms, hands, and legs and moving the whole body, such as walking, standing, lifting, climbing, bending and handling materials; is frequently exposed to loud noise, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals in a ventilated maintenance shop;
  
  may walk and/or stand for over 6 hours per day; works with personal computer (PC), laptop; may use electronic hand-held device (cell phone, two way-radio); works around heavy machinery.
• Performs routine facilities maintenance duties such as painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, welding, HVAC repairs, and other related assignments.
• Performs routine and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Uses tools and operate equipment needed to different perform job functions.
• Using chemicals and various products to maintain a clean work place.
• Maintaining a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Properly disposes of hazardous waste materials and other items.
• Fulfilling requests from management and supervisors.
• Perform facility inspections and preventive maintenance (PM) on repair garage equipment such as, bus lifts, bus washers, paint booth, high pressure washer/steam rack equipment and fuel dispensing equipment.
• Perform PM on small equipment such as drill press, hydraulic press, in-shop vacuum systems.
• Ensure all shop safety equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
• Make repairs to normal wear items such as hoses, steamer wands and fueling nozzles

Drug and alcohol screening:
Employment contingent upon passing pre-employment drug and alcohol screen. Also, contingent upon receiving a favorable background check. Must pass a physical examination.
