This position will work on-site at a project on USA Parkway.
Job OverviewAs a Field Engineer, you will coordinate manpower, manage on‑site materials, logistics, tools, and rental equipment, and assist with field workers’ certification management. Your responsibilities include ensuring quality assurance and quality control documentation, managing field training, maintaining current project documents, coordinating with subcontractors, assisting with daily activities, and participating in project scheduling meetings. You will also handle safety documentation, material takeoffs, change management, and create and manage production goals for field staff.
Excellent organizational and communication skills are required to ensure seamless operation of field activities and project success.
- Coordinating manpower and performing onboarding and offloading of manpower on project sites
- Assist with field workers certification management
- Manage on‑site material, logistics, tools and rental equipment
- Assist with QA/QC document management
- Contact AHJ for installation inspections (as required by GC)
- Assist with field required commissioning meetings and documentation
- Coordinate with subcontractor’s field personnel
- Schedule and renew Underground Service Alert tickets and provide OSHA notifications as required
- Coordinate material releases with Project Engineer
- Complete required prefabrication documentation
- Coordinate field training
- Ensure most current project documents (drawings, submittals, RFIs, etc.) are available (uploaded to ACC Build)
- Review and understand project specific requirements
- Assist foreman with daily activities and responsibilities
- Assist with RFI creation and management
- Complete daily reports with input from project team as needed
- Participate in all project scheduling meetings
- Participate in the required 10‑5‑2‑1 documentation and notification
- Ensure all required safety documentation is completed
- Enter time for field workers
- Assist with the completion of project as‑built drawings
- Complete material takeoffs
- Assist with change management
- Create and manage production goals for field staff

CompensationRex Moore pays hourly/salary rates commensurate with each employee’s knowledge, experience, and skill level.
Work EnvironmentRegularly exposed to environmental conditions inside and outside: inclement weather, cold, heat, and humidity. The noise level can be loud. Frequent exposure to vibrations, moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, machines, dust, and chemicals. May be required to function in crawl spaces, shafts, man holes, small enclosed rooms, and other areas of close proximity. Occasionally required to work on elevated surfaces including ladders and lifts.
