About the Apprenticeship ProgramThis high‑skill apprenticeship gives you at least 12 months of on‑the‑job experience, nationally recognized training, classroom instruction, and mentorship. You’ll learn from experts, complete projects, and earn a nationally recognized credential from the U.S. Department of Labor. Graduates can transition to related roles at T‑Mobile.
Program launch:
September 2020 in collaboration with the Nevada Apprentice Project. More states and roles will follow.
Must be a resident of the State of Nevada and live within 50 miles of Reno, NV.
Responsibilities- Provide technical support within and occasionally outside the immediate team; help drive network performance initiatives and resolve outages.
- Project management: tackle smaller projects or portions of key projects, providing accurate status and progress updates.
- Operations: identify and share potential process improvements, recommend them to senior technicians or management, assist in creating job aids, scopes of work, and maintenance tools.
- Continuous learning: enroll in and complete training to stay current on systems and products, and expand proficiency.
- Ability to learn quickly and attain minimum technical proficiency with Ericsson equipment in the field.
- Basic knowledge of the wireless industry and ability to work independently across a wide area of sites.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
- 12 months of hands‑on experience and mentorship.
- Nationally recognized credential upon graduation.
- Opportunity to transition to a skilled role within T‑Mobile.
