Position: Pipefitter
Location: Reno, Nevada, United States
Pay: $30-$34 per hour (DOE)
Hours: 45-55 hours per week, including some Saturdays
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Pipefitter to join our team in Reno. In this role, you will play a key part in assembling, installing, and maintaining complex piping systems for industrial and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair piping systems in industrial and commercial environments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Cut, thread, weld, and assemble pipe materials with precision.
- Ensure all installations comply with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance of piping systems.
- Work with various materials, including metal, PVC, copper, and specialty piping.
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a related skilled trade.
- Strong knowledge of pipe fitting techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Current OSHA certification required and strict adherence to safety regulations.
- Pipe fitting or related trade certification preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with schedule flexibility.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
