The Pool Technician is Responsible for maintaining the Peppermill swimming pools and hot tubs.

Duties:

• Respond promptly to guest complaints and safety hazards.
• Maintain knowledge of plumbing, basic electrical, chemicals, pumps, gauges, sensors, and pool filtering systems.
• Understand and follow directions in English (both written and verbal).
• Report to work on time in proper uniform and maintain professional appearance and hygiene.
• Clean up after each job and return tools/materials to proper storage.
• Work safely and respond to hazards immediately.
• Assist in all areas of the Engineering Department as needed.
• Order parts and supplies as needed for pool maintenance.
• Maintain work areas in a clean, neat, and hazard-free condition.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Engineering Hotel Supervisor.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or trade school equivalent required.
• Previous experience in pool maintenance preferred.
• State or County Pool Certification preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools.
• Organized, flexible, and able to handle multiple priorities.
