** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.

+ Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with licensing requirements, post instructions, and applicable regulations; maintain control of issued equipment and report discrepancies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate parties.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related hazards or maintenance concerns.

+ Control access points by verifying identification and/or authorization, monitoring for prohibited items, and assisting with orderly entry and exit procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A minimum of 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.

+ An armed guard card/license is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
