Armed Security Officer - Lobby Screener

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to visitors and employees at a government facility following site-specific procedures and security-related policies;
Operate walk-through metal detectors, hand-held wands, and x-ray screening equipment to screen persons and permitted items entering the facility;
Control access points by verifying identification and/or authorization, managing visitor sign-in, issuing temporary credentials when directed;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and local public services;
Complete required logs and reports, document screening outcomes and unusual activity, and communicate pertinent information to supervisors and/or client representatives
