Security Officer - Armed Transit Patrol

Allied Universal - Up to $25.00/hour -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to facility staff, commuters, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.;
Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit facilities, parking areas, platforms, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken per post orders and reporting requirements.;
Monitor entrances, fare areas, and other designated zones; verify credentials as required and/or screen for prohibited items consistent with site policies.;
Communicate with site management and local public agencies as directed; assist with crowd management, traffic control, and/or special events to support orderly operations.
