** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access.

+ Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.

+ Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions as needed, while maintaining a visible presence.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as required during incidents at the location.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during assigned shifts.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ CPR and first aid certification is preferred.

+ Handcuff, pepper spray, and baton certifications are preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
