Dealer Trainer - Affinity Development Group
Job Type: Full-time
Summary
The Dealer Field Support department’s primary objective is to train and support the Auto Program Dealer Network to ensure participating auto dealers excel in the Auto Program. Dealer Trainers are responsible for supporting Dealers within an assigned territory by conducting detailed, phone-based training on a variety of topics and updating Dealer files using established Auto Program processes. Trainers must deliver content with enthusiasm, confidence, and professionalism during all training calls, work as part of a service-oriented team, and contribute to related tasks as needed.
Responsibilities- Facilitate phone-based training sessions on a variety of topics related to our Auto Programs, including training Dealers on how to use our website and program tools.
- Assist Dealers in completing post training program certification.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to Dealer requests post training.
- Build and create rapport with assigned Dealers and Field Representatives.
- Process online tickets to update Dealer information in the company’s CRM software.
- Provide ongoing support for Field Representatives in assigned territories.
- Take detailed notes and document all Dealer conversations in the CRM software.
- Coordinate with our Dealer Schedulers to communicate scheduling needs.
- Contribute to manufacturer promotions by training participating program Dealers.
- Attend and participate in department meetings.
- Maintain open communication with the Department Manager and Executive Director.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Two-year college or university degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent follow-up, relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented; able to multi-task and stay organized.
- Friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Continuously strives to improve skills and knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable being on the phone.
- Team player, able to work well with others.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
- Able to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and the internet.
