Full Time, Onsite
The Sales Engineer is a dynamic and results-driven professional with a strong passion for excelling in sales. They have a keen ability to quickly absorb complex technical topics and can confidently deliver technical presentations, seminars, and workshops as needed. With a strong interest in learning and growing within the specialized field of overmolding, this individual is proactive in conducting market and technology research, staying ahead of industry trends, and providing valuable insights to drive success.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Actively pursue new business opportunities by breaking into new customer accounts and expanding the company’s client base.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and Cavist, facilitating smooth communication and addressing concerns as they arise.
- Engage with customers who have active sales inquiries at Cavist, turning these inquiries into successful projects while ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry influencers.
- Confidently deliver technical presentations, seminars, and workshops to both prospective and existing clients, effectively communicating complex technical information in an accessible manner.
- Work with Sales management to implement strategic plans to expand the company's presence within the target industries.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential areas for growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals for prospective clients.
- Travel to meet with customers, attend industry events, and participate in trade shows, ensuring a strong presence in the market.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, pipeline, and market insights to sales management.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum of Five (5) years of Sales experience.
- Strong sales experience within injection molding or electronics encapsulation industries is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
