Virtual Sales Specialist – OverviewThe Virtual Sales Specialist (VSS) implements client marketing plans by delivering proficient sales presentations to physicians, healthcare providers, and clinic personnel. In your assigned territory, you will plan and organize activities to ensure regular, consistent coverage, maintain accurate CRM records, and comply with reporting and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Execute client-directed outbound calls, emails, and virtual strategic interactions to deliver effective sales presentations.
- Develop a daily/weekly call schedule for efficient, comprehensive coverage.
- Collaborate with field representatives to devise and execute growth‑driving business strategies.
- Demonstrate territory planning with impactful pre‑/post‑call analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions, including calls, emails, and appointments in the CRM system.
- Clearly articulate the clinical benefits and value of targeted products to HCPs and office staff using educational resources.
- Build trust and credibility through consistent, professional communication in a virtual setting.
- Engage HCPs to educate, identify patients, and qualify leads.
- BA/BS degree (minimum).
- 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with a track record of documented success.
- 1+ year of virtual/inside healthcare sales experience (preferred).
- Excellent selling skills, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Technical/computer proficiency.
- Effective prioritization and planning skills with adherence to compliance guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple systems.
