Position Title

Oncology Sales Specialist - Fresno/Reno

Overview

The Oncology Sales Specialist (OSS) is a diagnostic sales representative that serves as an overlay specialist within Neo Genomics Laboratories. The OSS supports oncology customers and opportunities in a designated territory (Fresno and Nevada excluding Las Vegas), coordinates sales efforts with Territory Business Managers (TBMs) and Regional Directors (RD), and proactively identifies oncology group opportunities to grow product sales.

Core Responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of Neo Genomics products, services, internal policies, competitor products, and payer/reimbursement landscape
  • Achieve annual sales and/or profit goals through efficient management and customer satisfaction within the assigned region
  • Collaborate with TBMs to engage Tier A, B, C accounts
  • Work with Key Account Managers (KAMs) and CSS to increase account value on Tier A and B accounts
  • Facilitate access to oncology groups based on clinical needs and buying patterns
  • Consultatively sell and promote the Company’s molecular products within the territory
  • Proactively review the current and prospective customer base to target new or existing product sales
  • Provide market feedback on products, competition, and conditions to the Regional Director
  • Maintain territory‑specific information regarding competitors and distributors
  • Generate ideas that contribute to the terrain, region, business unit, and company profitability
Experience, Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a business‑related field (MBA preferred)
  • 5+ years of consistent success in oncology sales in diagnostics or pharmaceuticals (products and/or services)
  • Strong closing skills; formal sales training a plus
  • Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills at all organizational levels
  • Excellent oral, written, telephone, and presentation skills
  • Extensive knowledge of the clinical and laboratory market environment and products
  • Ability to learn and retain product information and communicate benefits to customers
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours as needed
  • Valid driver’s license for state of residence
Travel Required

Travel up to 75 % of the time. Some overnight travel may be required.
