Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Provide excellent guest service while performing cashiering duties.
- Organize and maintain appearance of assigned retail outlet.
- Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice. Answer questions and offer assistance to provide guest satisfaction. Relay accurate information to guests regarding hours of operation, Hotel services, directions to local attractions or function rooms, car rentals, airline shuttle service, etc.
- Receive payment from guests in the form of cash, credit cards, room charges and comp slips; make change as needed, verify validity of charges, record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed to balance all monetary transactions.
- Make deposits/cash drops, complete appropriate cashier paperwork/reports, balance and secure bank.
- Keep shop organized and neat in appearance (e.g., dust, straighten, stack).
- Check all incoming stock against invoices to ensure correct quantities are received.
- Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform simple reading, writing, math, and task completion skills.
- Instructing, following instructions, and independent judgment.
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends as business needs dictate.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Previous retail experience is preferred or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Must be able to maintain appropriate Alcohol Awareness card.
- Constant standing, walking, frequent reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling, and occasional climbing and balancing.
- Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull 50 lbs or less occasionally.
- Repetitive use of both feet, hands, light and firm grasping motions; finger dexterity required.
- Vision abilities required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

- Work performed indoors, often alone and frequently with and around others; face-to-face verbal contact including extended shifts around computer equipment.
- Noise level usually moderate but can be quiet or loud at times.
