The City of Reno is currently accepting applications for various Parks Maintenance part-time positions. These positions allow you to support our parks and natural areas, which are essential for the wellbeing of our community and wildlife. - Horticultural Attendant ($16.75–$23.75/hour) – Approximately April–October
- Idlewild Train Operator ($16.75–$23.75/hour) – Approximately May–September
- Park Maintenance Helper ($16.75–$23.75/hour) – Available year‑round

Horticultural Attendant- Water hanging baskets, planting, weeding in an outdoor environment.
- Gather and remove garbage and litter from grounds and facilities.

- Experience:
One year of paid work experience in similar work - Required
Certifications:
Valid driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent
- Operate and perform basic service of the children’s train and related equipment.

Certifications:
Valid driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent
- Perform a variety of maintenance and repair functions at City parks and related facilities including janitorial maintenance, turf maintenance, landscaping and general groundskeeping duties.
