Position: Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular OR/CVOR
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular OR/CVOR position requiring a minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience and an active NV RN license.

Job Details

• Hospital-based Cardiovascular OR/CVOR setting,

• Typical cases include cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries such as Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts (CABG), valve replacement, carotid endarterectomy, and aortic abdominal aneurysm (AAA) repair,

• 10-hour day shifts scheduled Monday through Friday, with specific shift assignments based on unit needs upon arrival,

• After-hours and weekend call required,

• 40 hours per week,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active NV RN license required (no pending licenses accepted),

• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA-issued certifications only),

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience in a US hospital required,

• OR nurses with at least 1 year of experience both scrubbing and circulating may also be considered,

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required,

• BSN highly desired,

• US Social Security Number required,

• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer,

• Date of birth required for consideration,

• Delivers safe, competent, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy,

• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,

• CPI certification is mandated for this position; facility may offer Basic or Advanced CPI training - confirm with your recruiter
