The Clinic Registered Nurse provides direct patient care within the scope of practice in the clinic setting. The Registered Nurse communicates with physicians, managers/directors, and co‑workers, as appropriate, about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. The Registered Nurse is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment, coordinates the care of the patient with physicians, directs and guides other personnel, and maintains standards of care within the department.
The RN works with other departments and co‑workers to provide quality patient care across the continuum, efficient patient flow, unit maintenance, and organization. Responsibilities also include adherence to regulations, standards, and facility or unit policies and procedures; participation in performance improvement activities, unit meetings, and in‑services; and acting as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.
- Recent RN experience preferred.
- Must be able to communicate in English (speak and write).
- Current and valid Nevada RN license.
- BLS (AHA) certification required.
- ACLS (AHA) certification required within 90 days of hire and maintained thereafter (Cardiology and those performing infusion duties only).
