We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab to join our team. The RN will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes in a high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac status throughout procedures
- Administer medications and assist physicians during interventions
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and ongoing care
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records
- Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac care and hemodynamic monitoring
- Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- Prior experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or interventional cardiology unit
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred)
Note:
Candidates must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility.
