  Regional Level II Trauma Center
• Unit: 38-bed Med/Surg with Orthopedic and Neurosurgery specialties
• Contract Type:
  Travel Registered Nurse
• Shift: 3x12 hour night shifts (18:45 – 07:15)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/8/2025 – End: 12/7/2025)
• Patient Ratio: 1:5-6, private rooms, diverse ortho and med/surg cases
• Call Requirements:
  None
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680 - $1800

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nevada (must be obtained before start date)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Orthopedic nursing experience strongly preferred
• Ability to float to similar nursing units as needed
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as scheduled

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients on a busy Med/Surg Ortho Spine unit
• Manage patients with total joint replacements, ortho-spine surgeries, fractures, trauma, wound care, and medical overflow
• Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and quality
• Demonstrate adaptability and clinical excellence in a high-acuity, fast-paced hospital environment
