Responsibilities
In this per diem, day‑shift position, the Cath Lab Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care to adult patients within the cardiovascular laboratory setting. The RN will address the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the procedural/interventional environment, communicate effectively with the physician and team members, assess the procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness, assist in obtaining supplies for individual cases and ensure that all appropriate needs of the cardiovascular lab team are met.
The RN will monitor, position and assist the patient during procedures and administer moderate sedation under the guidance of the physician, while participating in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Qualifications- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Nevada.
- Current POC license within 90 days.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Minimum of one year experience in critical care.
- Cath Lab/IR experience required.
- Willing to take call/standby.
