REGISTERED NURSE, Emergency Dept @ the NW McCarran FED, Full Time Nights $10,000 SIGN ON BONUS

Northern Nevada Health System invites applications for a full‑time registered nurse to serve in the Emergency Department at NW McCarran FED. The position offers a $10,000 sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance, 36 hours per week, full benefits, and a flexible nighttime schedule.

• Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialists as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
• Performs a head‑to‑toe assessment on all patients and reassessments as per policy, including pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and general adult populations.
• Uses triage process to ensure timely and appropriate care to patients and accurately assigns triage categories.
• Monitors hemodynamic status of patients and correctly interprets the results.
• Assesses and reassesses pain, utilizes appropriate pain management techniques, and educates patients and families regarding pain management.

• Current NV RN License
• Two to three years of experience in the emergency department preferred OR two to three years critical care experience OR extensive EMS background experience
• Current BLS Certification
• Current ACLS Certification (within 6 months of hire)
• Current PALS Certification (within 6 months of hire)
