Quail Surgical and Pain Management Center in Reno, Nevada, is an outpatient surgical center dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. This full-time RN opportunity offers a convenient day shift schedule and provides direct patient care to infant through geriatric populations. Responsibilities include addressing psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care in the surgical environment, communicating with surgeons and anesthesiologists about patient condition, assisting with equipment and inventory, participating in performance improvement, assessing OR readiness, and ensuring all needs of the surgical team are met.

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Nevada.
• Previous experience in an outpatient OR setting or acute care OR preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

• Provide communication between team members in the surgical field and those outside the OR room.
• Inform charge nurse of case progress and report any unusual circumstances.
• Obtain needed supplies and equipment for each specific procedure.
• Verify suctions, lights, and other equipment for proper functioning.
