Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized nursing opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with experience in Medical-Surgical Oncology. This contract role offers the chance to work full-time on dayshift with 12-hour shifts. The assignment begins mid-January and extends for approximately 26 weeks, with a preference for candidates who can commit through the end of January and into the first week of February.

Responsibilities:

* Provide nursing care to oncology patients in a medical-surgical setting

* Administer medications, including chemotherapy, and monitor patient responses

* Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans

* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations

* Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, treatments, and post-care

Qualifications & Compliance Requirements:

* Current, active RN license

* Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable

* Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or documented declination/attestation

* Ability to meet minimum compliance requirements prior to start date and complete full compliance profile within two weeks of starting
