Charge Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional nurse who coordinates the delivery of nursing care. Aligned with Nursing Leadership, the Charge Nurse provides leadership by working in collaboration with medical, ancillary, and support staff in maintaining standards of nursing practice in the clinical setting. The Charge Nurse serves as a clinical and leadership resource and role model for the staff.
Qualifications- RN license in the state you are applying
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- At least three years of inpatient telemetry or critical care nursing experience
- Preferred:
Prior Charge Nurse or Supervisory experience, CCRN certification, and comfort working with complex disease processes, ventilators, tracheostomies, and invasive/non-invasive monitoring techniques
As a Charge RN you will serve as a clinical and leadership resource, provide leadership in collaboration with medical and ancillary staff, maintain standards of nursing practice, and serve as a role model for the staff.
