OverviewJoin an award‑winning team committed to quality, compassion, and community. As the Director of Nursing (DON) for Surgery, you will lead clinical and patient care services, develop and implement nursing plans, and drive quality‑improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities- Organize and administer nursing services within the surgery program to achieve hospital‑wide objectives.
- Develop and implement nursing plans for surgical patients, coordinating care and treatment.
- Collaborate with medical staff, clinical leaders, and administration in facility decision‑making.
- Lead ongoing quality‑improvement programs to assess, measure, and enhance nursing care delivery.
- Current, valid state RN license.
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certificates upon hire and maintained thereafter.
- Minimum five years in acute‑care nursing.
- Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). - Preferred:
Two years of prior administrative experience.
Full‑time, Days shift.
