This Float Pool Registered Nurse opportunity is full time, offers full benefits and a convenient flexible schedule. We are looking for a dynamic individual who provides direct and indirect patient care, communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition, responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment, performs general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision, participates in performance improvement and CQI activities, and is willing to float to all units.
Job Duties / Responsibilities- Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialists as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
- Ability to perform a head‑to‑toe assessment on all patients and reassessments as per policy, including pediatric, adolescent, geriatric and general patient populations.
- Uses triage process to ensure timely and appropriate care to patients, accurately assigning triage categories.
- Ability to adequately assess and reassess pain, utilize appropriate pain management techniques, and educate the patient and family regarding pain management.

Qualifications- Current NV nursing license
- Current ACLS & BLS certificate
- PALS certificate (to be obtained within six months of employment)
- At least two years of recent critical care or emergency department experience
