Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking an experienced (at least 3 years) Nurse Practictioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in an out-patient clinic setting. This position requires a compassionate individual who can work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive medical services.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8 hour shift, depending on caseload

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized care plans for patients
- Administer medications, including injections, as prescribed by physicians
- Perform patient assessments to monitor mental health status and response to treatment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options
- Utilize durable medical equipment (DME) as needed for patient care
- Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe healthcare environment

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

Skills:

Strong clinical skills in areas such as clinic operations.
Proficiency in using electronic health record system for efficient patient management.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.

Experience with Telehealth platforms to provide remote care solutions when needed.
A commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the medical field.

Requirements:
Completion of Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing/Physician Assistant from an accredited program required
Active, current, and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner/PA license in Nevada required
Active DEA license in Nevada required
State controlled substance certificate required
Minimum 2 years of experience in family practice or urgent care required
Current CPR/BLS certification required
FNP-BC or FNP-C certification preferred
Able to multitask and work independently
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for providing patient-centered care in a multidisciplinary setting
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting

Medical Specialty:
Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, Ob/Gyn, Pediatrics, Primary Care, Psychiatry, Urgent Care

Previous experience with and/or knowledge of varying mental health conditions preferred.
