Quality Assurance Technician I role at Elemental LED Inc.
We are looking to hire a Full-Time Quality Assurance Technician I. The core hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Pay range: $22.50 - $24.00/hour.

Responsibilities- Conduct in-process inspections, verifying that all documents and builds meet assembly requirements utilizing prints, BOMs, and SOPs.
- Verify correct product labeling, markings, quantity, dimensional and visual characteristics, input data for historical reference, and report issues to Quality leadership.
- Compare the physical characteristics of products to technical specifications to identify defects.
- Conduct tests on electrical function, reliability, and packaging quality; record results.
- Report non-conforming material issues to Quality and Production leadership so necessary adjustments, reworks, and dispositions can be put in place.
- Interact and collaborate with members of other departments such as Production, Product Management, and Engineering to improve quality methods and system processes, positively influencing product and service quality.
- High school diploma or GED and one year of relevant experience (or equivalent training).
- Ability to safely use various metrology tools including calipers, handheld photometer, and multimeter.
- Strong organizational skills: strategize, plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks effectively and within deadlines.
- Work with low voltage electricity.
- Knowledge of quality best practices and continuous improvement principles; ISO regulations a plus.
- Knowledge of LED drivers, controls, basic lighting terminology, photometry, and applications a plus.
- Experience with test equipment such as multimeters, calipers, and handheld photometers a plus.
- Operate and maintain modern office equipment and specialized software applications.
- Use tact, initiative, prudence, and independent judgment within general policy, procedural, and safety guidelines.
- Effectively communicate in person, over the telephone, and in writing in English.
