Teardown / Disassembler Associate

Hiring a Teardown / Disassembler. This role will reclaim old refrigerant and teardown old AC units in accordance with EPA regulations and will handle, sort, identify and address any potential issues with the equipment during the recovery process.

Must be ok with this environment:

• These are old units that are dirty (dust and dirt, but not oil or grease). Wear jeans and an old shirt so you don’t ruin clothes.
• Will work outside under a covered awning using hand drills to take the units apart and remove copper and aluminum and other parts being reclaimed from the AC Unit.

LOCATION: Reno, NV 89506

POSITION: Contract

PAYRATE: $19.00 per hour

• HS Diploma or GED
• Pass Background Check
• Pass Drug Screen
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work with dust/oil
• Able to use hand and power tools, including metal cutting saws
• Works with a positive attitude and is a team player
• Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Able to handle and sort different materials
