Job Description:
Position Overview: The 2nd Shift Operations Supervisor manages team workflow by assigning tasks, supporting staff, monitoring results, and reporting to senior management. They focus on improving processes, setting team targets, and acting as a liaison between employees and upper management. Responsibilities also include coaching and resolving issues.
Work Location: This is an on-site role
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3pm-11:30pm, with schedule flexibility, including some coverage before or after shifts and weekends on a rotating basis.

Compensation & Benefits: Salary range of $65,000–$75,000, performance-based yearly bonus, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, sick leave, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Follow procedures for shipments, handle materials, keep inventory current, develop schedules, assign tasks, monitor productivity, manage budgets, and meet customer requirements.
- Training & Compliance: Ensure staff complete necessary training (e.g., OSHA), maintain audit records.
- Customer Satisfaction: Understand and meet customer expectations, address complaints.
- Team Leadership: Set goals, monitor productivity, provide coaching, manage timekeeping and payroll, handle disciplinary actions.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety standards, manage workplace accidents, maintain a safe environment, follow GMPs, and report noncompliance.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED; BS/BA in Logistics/Supply Chain or related field preferred; or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years supervisory experience in distribution, 3PL, or warehouse environment.
- Experience with 5S and continuous improvement programs.
- Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet, including reach and stock pickers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and WMS software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in distribution or warehousing industry strongly preferred.
- Experience with timekeeping systems like ADP is a plus.
