Responsibilities

Northwest Specialty Hospital
, an extension of Northern Nevada Medical Center, brings expanded services to a new building located at 6225 Sharlands Ave. in Northwest Reno. The facility will offer acute rehabilitation and adult behavioral health services.

This housekeeping opportunity is full time @ 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient schedule. We are looking for a dynamic Floor Care Technician to clean and maintain all carpeted and hard surfaces in the facility. Performs preventive maintenance on special floor equipment and participates in the department's continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

• Performs cleaning and maintenance of all floors; carpets, tile, concrete and brick flooring.
• Performs restoration functions on highly soiled or worn areas.
• Performs assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services Department.
• Operates and maintains all equipment correctly and safely.

One to three (1‑3) months related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous hospital experience preferred but not required.
