Wave Planner

Responsibilities

• Organize orders to create waves for release to the pick department
• Processes order exceptions as directed by the systems or supervisors
• Monitor the workflow to ensure orders are completed
• Communicates with customers, customer service center, and freight carriers
• Assist pickers and packers with order issues
• Meet established procedures, productivity, safety, and quality standards
• Work in conjunction with Shipping Dispatch to ensure daily service and output requirements are met

• Experience in Synapse and Scale preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills required
• Satisfactory understanding of all applicable Standard Operating Procedures
• Must be able to work safely and within company safety guidelines
• Ability to navigate basic computer software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Prior Planning or WMS experience preferred, but not required
