SCRUB TECHNOLOGIST, Per Diem
Join Northern Nevada Health System as a Per Diem Scrub Technologist at Sierra Medical Center. Sierra Medical Center is a 170‑bed acute care hospital offering a range of services including 24/7 ER care, cardiology, oncology, labor and delivery, Level II NICU, and surgical and orthopedic services.

- Prepare operating rooms with all necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment for each surgical or GI Lab procedure.
- Assist in positioning, prepping, and draping of patients for surgical procedures.
- Ensure the operating suite is adequately prepared and the PAR level of all surgical instruments and supplies is maintained.
- Assist the manager with supervision and education of staff.
- Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
- Interact professionally with patients, families, and co‑workers.

Qualifications- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
- Required:
Surgical Technician Certification within 6 months of hire, or verifiable hospital surgical tech experience before 01/01/2018. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in an operating room.
