Objective:WC Health is seeking a full-time Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Technician Float.
Duties:- Administer TMS sessions per protocol under clinical supervision
- Monitor patient safety and comfort during treatments
- Provide patient education and emotional support throughout treatment
- Maintain and troubleshoot TMS equipment and treatment room setup
- Accurately document patient sessions and progress in the EHR
- Greet and assist patients, manage scheduling, and handle check-in/out, intake paperwork, Front Desk and Medical Assistant support when possible
- Complete and track evaluations, screenings and prior authorizations for TMS and related services
- Use Athena's, EVS, and other insurance portals to verify benefits and submit required documentation
- Maintain organized patient records and assist with general office support as needed
- Ensure the clinic environment remains clean, welcoming, and professional
- Other administrative and clinical duties as assigned per clinic manager as needed

Required:
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with EMRs, patient scheduling, and front office procedures
- Experience completing prior authorizations for insurance
- Compassionate and patient-focused demeanor
- High school diploma
Preferred:
- Prior experience as a TMS Technician
- Background in mental health
- Medical Assistant Training or completion of school program
- Experience working in a small or start-up clinical setting
- PAID TMS Certification Education and Training (if needed)
- Supportive and mission-driven work environment
- Assist TMS Providers with preparation for evaluations, screenings, mappings, sessions and treatment monitoring and completion.
- Assist Patients by helping them connect to telehealth services either at their home or in clinic or by providing in-clinic, in-person visits and rooming patients throughout the day. Assisting the Front Desk team, Medical Assistant Back office team for coverage purposes and during unassigned TMS down time.
- Complete daily TMS Screenings for potential qualifying patients, process evaluations, monitor completion of provider evaluation/mapping notes along with maintaining all TMS sessions within the same day of treatment.
- Document patient histories, including medical and substance abuse histories, and measure vital signs such as weight, height, blood pressure, pulse and temperature.
- Perform MA procedures under the supervision of a Nurse Practitioner or Medical Doctor, including blood draws, ECGs, point-of-care testing (e.g., urine drug screens), and other duties as needed.
