Overview
The Patient Access Representative is the first face and voice for Northern Nevada HOPES. Patient Access Representatives are important members of the Integrated Healthcare Model at Northern Nevada HOPES and provide excellent communication about patient needs and services to medical and supportive services team members, with strong attention to detail. The Patient Access Representative works in partnership with patients to schedule appointments, provide reminders, identify and ensure eligibility for services, and demonstrates a passion for changing the lives of vulnerable patients.
The Patient Access Representative serves on a fluid team that provides direct patient services and is assigned to tasks as needed to ensure an outstanding patient experience.
- Schedule appointments for patients and provide appointment reminders.
- Identify and verify eligibility for services and communicate options clearly to patients and team members.
- Collaborate with patients and a multidisciplinary team to ensure a positive and efficient patient experience.
- Maintain attention to detail and provide accurate information to support patient access and service delivery.
- Support a fluid team with tasks aligned to delivering high-quality patient services as part of the Integrated Healthcare Model.
