Peer Support Specialist
The purpose of the Peer Support Specialist is to provide support to individuals in recovery and assist with engagement and retention in HOPES services. The Peer Support Specialist supports others in recovery from a substance use or behavioral health disorder. The Peer Support Specialist serves as a role model, a mentor, advocate and motivator to recovering individuals in order to engage, retain and help prevent relapse and promote long‑term recovery.
This is a non‑clinical role.
