We are a dedicated mental health team specializing in play therapy for children ages 6‑11. Our mission is to provide compassionate, therapeutic care to children who may be challenging to manage, helping them build coping skills and emotional resilience in a safe, supportive environment.
Position OverviewWe are seeking a caring and patient Mental Health Technician (MHT) to join our pediatric team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with children (ages 6‑11) and committed to making a positive impact in their lives. You will assist in implementing therapeutic activities, support behavioral interventions, and collaborate with clinicians to create a nurturing space for healing and growth.
Responsibilities- Engage children in structured play therapy activities under clinical guidance.
- Support individualized treatment plans and behavioral strategies.
- Monitor and document patient progress and behaviors.
- Foster a safe, positive, and therapeutic environment.
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other team members.
Day Shift – 12‑hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM. Base pay plus weekend and night differential. Required orientation is 2 weeks long Monday‑Friday 9 AM‑5 PM before starting your work schedule.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of one year in mental health; experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatry preferred.
