Resident Mentor - Mental Health Tech (MHT) DAY Shift with $500 sign‑on bonus
Willow Springs Center is recruiting full‑time Resident Mentors to support children ages 6 to 17 in a therapeutic residential setting.
Sign‑on bonus: $500 upon hire.
Responsibilities- Observe patient behavior continually to assess the effectiveness of treatment plans and document progress in patient charts.
- Assist with daily living activities, meals, recreational opportunities, and structured programs.
- Model appropriate behavior and employ active listening techniques to establish therapeutic interpersonal relationships with assigned patients.
- Protect patients’ rights by reporting observed violations, abuse, or neglect and responding to safety and security issues according to established procedures.
- Transport patients to and from scheduled appointments and outings using company vehicles.
- Make critical decisions regarding restraint of patients who pose a threat to themselves or others.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a mental health setting; inpatient or outpatient psychiatry experience preferred.
