The Radiation Therapist will serve patients with high-quality care. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

Delivering radiation treatment according to written prescription and treatment plan, ensuring safety and proper patient identification, positioning, and treatment delivery.

Providing a caring environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Ensuring treatment quality through accurate documentation and reporting deviations.

Communicating effectively with patients and staff, explaining procedures, and responding to concerns.

Performing patient simulations and inputting data into EMR, making recommendations to physicians.

Assisting in treatment procedures, reviewing charts, and managing supplies.

Performing daily and weekly QA checks, troubleshooting, and participating in quality improvement programs.

Capturing and verifying patient treatment charges.

Position Requirements

Associate’s degree or technical certification in ARRT-accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
ARRT (T) certification.
State licensure, if applicable.
CPR certification.
Minimum one year of experience as Radiation Therapist.
COVID-19 vaccination may be required.
Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements

Work involves exposure to radioactive materials, radiation, biological fluids, and infectious diseases. Must be capable of full mobility, including walking, lifting, and transferring patients.
