Renown Health is searching for a visionary and compassionate nursing leader to serve as Director of Nursing for Renown Children’s Hospital
—the region’s only dedicated children’s hospital and a trusted partner for pediatric care across Northern Nevada.

This is more than a leadership role—it's an opportunity to shape the future of pediatric healthcare and lead teams that care for our youngest and most vulnerable patients. You’ll oversee a diverse and high-acuity clinical portfolio including:

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

As a critical member of our leadership team, you’ll drive operational excellence, champion patient- and family-centered care, and support our mission to be a learning organization that empowers staff and leads through innovation.

• Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day operational oversight across pediatric service lines
• Foster a culture of clinical excellence, collaboration, and compassionate care
• Partner with physician leaders to advance quality, safety, and patient outcomes
• Lead and support initiatives that drive team development and service growth
• Establish and monitor budgets, performance metrics, and care standards
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in pediatric care
• Engage directly in patient care when needed to support the team and model excellence

• Passion for pediatric care and a drive to elevate the standard of nursing leadership
• Exceptional communication, emotional intelligence, and strategic thinking
• Bachelor s or Master’s degree in healthcare or business required
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience
• Active Nevada RN license (or ability to obtain)
